ABOUT BAYSIDE SPORTS

We are a sports management company based out of Mumbai, best known for organising exciting sports properties for adults and children alike, for the past 10 years. We design innovative formats, bring in professional facilities, empires, grounds, and the works to give the sports lovers an experience of a lifetime. Our most significant achievement is the success of Bayside Sports School Dads Cricket Championship, which has run for 10 seasons.
Sports is an emotional unifier of diversity. We strive to be inclusive, to enable camaraderie and team spirit in our effort to bring sports lovers, who have given up sports, back to the playing field. The idea is to consider every amateur sportsperson as a professional and build up the passion, pomp, and glory of playing sports.
ABOUT THE DOCTORS CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIP
A unique T20 cricket tournament with 8 teams of doctors, 15 member squads and 18 games.
All league & the semi-finals will be played at the Khar Gymkhana under floodlights with all the frills of a premier T20 cricket league.
The final of the Doctors Cricket Championship will be organised in Dubai at the ICC Academy grounds. The Champions will play against Dubai teams.
Each team will be owned by an individual or a group of players in the first year. The inaugural tournament will pave the way for a team & player auction in the second year.
For the auction, where the players will be categorised as per their performance in the inaugural tournament, the existing owners of the teams will have the first right of refusal.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
8 teams, 15 member squads, total 18 games (all T20). All league & semi finals at Khar Gymkhana under floodlights. Champions Will Play Against Dubai Team.
In Year 1, Teams will be sold to owners with a starting base price of INR 3,00,000 + GST (individual owned) There will be a charge of INR 9,00,000 for each finalist team for Dubai - Each teams shall bear the cost of flights & visas. For Year 2 onwards, there will be a Team and Player auction. In year 2, Owners from year 1 will have first right to refusal. In year 2, Players will be categorised based on performances of Year 1.
